Dream Again Campaign

(National Archives, ARC.542069)

Join us and Dream Again.
Life’s circumstances – violence in the community; devastating dysfunctions and disasters in the home; unresolved issues and unhealed wounds among the people of God, have conspired over the years to convince many to stop dreaming and simply settle. Many have decided to accept life as it is, on its own terms. God calls for us to Dream Again.

Visiting RPC
RPC is known as the ‘hugging’ church.  We know that visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating, but you will find the people at The Roxbury Presbyterian Church ready to welcome everyone.  Here is what you can expect on your first visit:

  • We offer two services currently:  Traditional (8:00 a.m.) and Contemporary (11:00 a.m.)
  • Ushers will meet you at the front and back doors each Sunday morning. They will assist you with seating and provide direction to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
  • During our contemporary service, children are welcome to stay with their parents during the service.  However, we offer the following:  Children’s Church for ages 5-11.  You can meet the Children’s Church teachers before the service. Be sure and tell them if your child has any food allergies as we often have a small snack. Children’s Church mirrors the adult service but appropriate for the age group.
  • We have a Children’s Nursery for ages infant to 4.  The nursery is managed by a loving group of ministry staff and trained volunteers.
  • For parents who prefer to stay with their babies, we also have a Cry Space available on the sanctuary level for parents and children 0-4.  This space will allow the child to move about and the parent will still be able to hear the preached word through an intercom system.  Children in the Children’s Church stay upstairs in the sanctuary and are dismissed to Church School at a specified time during the adult service, generally after the praise and worship segment.
  • You will see a wide variety of clothing styles at the church. Wear whatever you are comfortable wearing.
  • Our Traditional Service is one with hymns, prayer and a sermon.
  • Our Contemporary Services is one with praise songs, prayer, and a sermon
We would be delighted to have you join with us for worship this Sunday. Be sure and check out our Calendar for any special events that might be taking place! If you have any questions, call the church at 617-445-2116 and we would be happy to answer your questions.
