Dream Again Campaign

(National Archives, ARC.542069)

Join us and Dream Again.
Life’s circumstances – violence in the community; devastating dysfunctions and disasters in the home; unresolved issues and unhealed wounds among the people of God, have conspired over the years to convince many to stop dreaming and simply settle. Many have decided to accept life as it is, on its own terms. God calls for us to Dream Again.

We are blessed to pursue this work of empowering 800 families and faculty members of our two adopted schools to dream again with partners from around the city: Roxbury Presbyterian Church Social Impact Center, Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO), and Trinity Episcopal Church of Boston.  Both of our Adopted Schools have developed dream lists that stretch from supplies, to field trips, to a variety of programmatic needs that are currently beyond their reach.  Informed by these lists, RPC has developed a variety of programmatic and relational approaches that will enable us and our partners to come along side these two schools in supportive ways.   We are currently laying the ground work with two organizers provided by GBIO.  These organizers are busy meeting one-on-one with parents and teachers listening to them and helping them to talk and listen to one another about shared dreams.  This work will be continued by RPC members and friends as we work to establish real relationships (person to person) with the 800 families, students and faculty of these two schools.  It is our prayer to inspire, organize and support these parents, students and teachers in the process of building the necessary power to truly realize dreams that seem out of reach now.   And it is our prayer that by our work, the reality of Jesus Christ’s love will be visible, powerful and transformative.
